Can not comment on the doctor however I was shocked that the clinic would not provide a written estimate to verify insurance coverage for a tongue tie procedure that we had scheduled. Spent 20 min on the phone back and forth with no positive result very rude receptionist who does not seem to understand the requirements of private medicare insurance. His only comme are that the dr does not work with RAMQ. We all know this RAMQ does not cover dental procedures. If this is how they treat their patients before they even set foot inside the clinic then I want nothing to do with this clinic. Im sorry you can be the best doctor in the world however if your team is unable to answer questions and provide proper info to patients whats the point? I get the feeling that they couldn't care less if they lost few patients To each their own, I ended up calling another dentist very courteous receptionist who provided me all details and then some without any headaches and arguments I had a letter in my email with the costs and procedural codes in few min. My decision was very easy. Edit 1: Following the clinic reply lets agree to disagree. 1. I am the customer/patient and I expect a courteous understanding and professional conversation especially when I call a professionals office. 2. Thank you for providing the codes however as I tried to explain numerous times the insurance can not provide full coverage information based on codes for dental work without submitting a estimate form. This is confirme by a senior manager with one of Canadas main private insurance companies. Estimate form needs to be provided by dental clinic and this is a regular procedure. 3. I do not know any dental clinic in Quebec that is not a PRIVATE dental clinic and I do not understand your argument. I have private insurance in order to go to a private clinic. If i did not I would go get the procedure done at a hospital. 4. This is the first dental clinic I hear of that is unwilling to provide a document in writing with the dental codes and amounts for a procedure in order for the private insurance to validate coverage. 5. Just to prove a point I called all dentists on the CLSC list that perform this operation they are all more than glad to provide the required information to satisfy insurance requirements. This just goes to show that before we even set foot in this clinic as a future patient the disregard for basic customer service and the refusal to understand simple private insurance requirements is not worth the headache. Im sure you have to many patients to care for my 2c review however as a professional the attitude I received and the clinics refusal to even hear/understand my request is not worth my headache. If I am asking you for this documentation its not because I am inventing something its due to a request by my PRIVATE INSURANCE PROVIDER TO VALIDATE COVERAGE FULL STOP.

My son needed a procedure for his tongue tie, the CLSC gave us a list of recommendation and we found this clinic. They do not take RAMQ and warned us through the phone the payments for this procedure. We first met Dr. Duc Lam Do, who started with a consultation, explained everything throughly. His dental assistant was very friendly and helped us feel more calm since we were a little nervous. It was quick and easy! We also had a f/u with his wife Dr. Sochea Lung-Tor, she was able to let us know if we were doing the exercise correctly and showed us more exercise to continue at home. I recommend this dental clinic for those who are looking to do a frenectomy for their children. Thank you again!

Our baby had tongue tie and we wanted to get it done as soon as possible, the front desk gave us an appointment for 2 days later, Friday at 5pm, last day before Dr. Lam-Dos vacation because they knew she was suffering for breastfeeding. We really appreciated it. Great experience over all. Dr. Lam-do was very informative and courteous, he even called us to check on our baby while being in vacation. Staff were great as well. Thank you Dr. & staff!

BUYER BEWARE. This dentist is NOT covered by RAMQ and I was rushed into a procedure for my son that would have been covered by any other dentist. Very rushed consultation.
