(Translated by Google) In short, I was satisfied with Dr. Langlois' service for a few years. My family, son and friends went there after me. It was after several follow-up suggestions that I "finally" went to redo my orthotics (pes cavus, plantar faceitis). Dr. Langlois quickly scanned my foot with his new laser. I consider that the impression of a foot in the void is not the same as a foot on which rests all the weight of the body. Especially with a pes cavus that has an inward pronation. From the first step, I had discomfort. I have never been comfortable. It was a difficult follow-up because it was summer (sandal) and she had already gone on maternity leave. Long story short, I was way too kind and patient, until I couldn't walk on my foot and developed knee pain. She said she didn't understand, that I was her only patient who had this kind of complaint. However, I'm really not a difficult person. She seemed to have no solution when I saw, I explained the dynamics of my orthosis which hurt me. Looking back, I waited far too long. I'm over a year and a half with follow up requests and a remake with the same scan after over a year. Because of this, I developed Morton's Syndrome with nerve thickening and sharp pain when walking. I hope time will heal my wound. It was by meeting an orthotist-prosthetist that I was able to switch to solution mode. My orthoses are now ULTRA-COMFORTABLE (Burkenstock soft style but with firm and STABLE support) and the support is adapted to my problem. I went from hell to heaven. These firm plastic braces are not for everyone. It can cause metatarsal pain (bursitis, etc.). For my part, my fatty pads have been moved and I feel like I have a potato under my foot, dull pain, electric shock and I feel a bump. All sports that put pressure on this part are currently impossible for me. Movement Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, cross-country, elliptical are impossible. Cooking for more than an hour or two on your feet is now difficult. I hope that in time I will be able to resume my activities. I'm hurt. A chance that walking is still possible. Treatment costs (osteopath, etc.) and various shoes and a feeling of not having been well advised, listened to and treated leave me perplexed. With each step, "I try" not to think too much about her.
