The technician found that the heat pump needed a new part (compressor) and that it would take 2-3 weeks to get it. We were offered the option to pay $150 to ship the part and it would take 3-5 days. Three weeks later, the part has not been installed. Finally during the 4th week, the pump works after receiving the part. And here's where the big frustration comes in: I got a bill for $300 and another for $2,600. The big bill was for the work during the replacement of the compressor + the $150 for the fast shipping. Included in this: 5.5 hrs for the technician and 2 hrs for an apprentice. wow. Luckily I have outdoor cameras. The apprentice literally did nothing. And the other tech didn't work for 5.5 hrs; not even close.
I called CBS and the administrator was very nice, and incredibly quick to credit me for charges that shouldn't show up. All in all, the technician was your dishonest so I do not recommend this company. It shouldn't even be an option.

Lan dernier, durant une journe o il faisait 32C, notre climatisation a cess de fonctionner. CBS Air fut le seul commerant prt nous servir. Le technicien a constat que la thermopompe ncessitait une nouvelle pice (compresseur) et que a prendrait 2-3 semaines pour lobtenir. On nous a offert loption de payer $150 pour expediter la pice et cela prendrait 3-5 jours. Trois semaines plus tard, la pice na pas t installe. Finalement durant la 4me semaine, la pompe fonctionne aprs avoir reu la pice. Et voici o la grande frustration apparat: jai reu une facture de $300 et une autre de $2,600. La grande facture fut pour louvrage durant le remplacement du compresseur + le $150 pour lexpdition rapide. Inclu l-dedans: 5.5 hrs pour le technicien et 2 hrs pour un apprenti. Wow. Une chance que jai des camras extrieurs. Lapprenti a littralement rien fait. Et lautre tech na pas travaill pendant 5.5 hrs; mme pas proche.
Jai appel CBS et ladministratrice tait trs gentille, et normment rapide me crditer les charges qui ne devraient pas apparatre. Tous comptes faits, le technicien tait tes malhonnte donc je ne recommande pas cette compagnie. Elle ne devrait mme pas tre une option.
