Purchased 23k (2x furnace & 2x thermopompes) worth of equipment and a 12 year warranty parts & labour in 2018 from one of their distributors in south shore of Montreal (zone confort) who actually refused to finish a job they were supposed to do, caused water damages in our house because of their incompetence and finally refused to show up 2 weeks ago when we contacted them as one of the thermopompes isnt working. This is covered by my 12 year warranty. I contacted DAIKIN Canada to complain and the secretary reassured me that mr carrier will contact me within 24 hrs and fix this issue. However this was 2 weeks ago, and no one has emailed nor called me since. I have however left 3 messages and emailed them as follow up but still no sign???? The secretary also CCd a bunch of people in her email telling them about their customers complaints, but no one has cared to follow up!!!!! Anyone hesitating between CARRIER & DAIKIN do not think about it twice. Their distributors service was unacceptable and their scamming the customers/clients selling services they dont provide and when you contact DAIKIN Canada well, no one cares to fix the issues caused by their representatives selling their products. Horrible products & horrible company. Stay away from DAIKIN if you want to have peace of mind.
