Actually dojos are supposed to be quiet. It is a place of learning. It is difficult to receive instructions from the Sensei if everyone is speaking at the same time. A dojo is also a place of calmness and rejuvenation. Once in the dojo, the hustle and bustle of the outside world disappear for a brief moment in time. Those in the know appreciate this. This dojo is such a place with friendly aikidoka.
