Amazing surgeon. He saved my arm. Smart. Innovative surgical techniques that do not require general anesthetic which decreases the impact of the surgery on the patient. I was able to return to farming and now am able to throw the ball and swim with my kids. Thank you!

(Translated by Google) I had two shoulder surgeries. One 5 years ago, the other 3 months ago. Severe acromioclavicular joint osteoarthritis. Surgery: acromioplasty by arthroscopy. In both cases, a resounding success. A few days later I move. A few months later I resumed training. I am 100% satisfied. In the Public Network, doctors don't care about our pain. De Beauchamp is attentive to our quality of life; it aims at rehabilitation. It deals with top athletes. Definitely a top. Thank you so much. (Original) Jai eu deux oprations aux paules. Une il y a 5 ans, lautre il y a 3 mois. Arthrose svre joint acromio-claviculaire. Merci beaucoup.

(Translated by Google) In 2022 following an MRI, I was diagnosed with a massive rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. In the public service, no orthopedic surgeon wanted to attempt the operation, because according to them the results would not be conclusive because of the major tear and my age. I am 63 years old, healthy and an avid golfer. I then turned to Dr. Beauchamp, because I had had very good comments about him, being a professional specializing in this type of intervention. I had the surgery in September 2022 and in March 2023 I was playing golf (25 rounds in the month of March in Myrtle Beach) without any pain. I am completely satisfied with the result and I sincerely thank Dr. Beauchamp for his excellent work and his extraordinary human side. (Translated by Google) February 2022, following a shoulder injury while playing tennis in Florida, I was diagnosed with a rotator cuff tear and impingement syndrome in the right shoulder. Unable to play tennis, golf, and physical training. They suggested an operation as soon as possible to improve my chances of complete recovery. When I return to Quebec, I have no choice; I have to turn to private clinics and I do my research on websites. Fortunately I came across the site of Dr. Beauchamps whose comments were excellent. From the first meeting, he inspires confidence in me. He takes the time to fully explain the options and answers all my questions very clearly. In July he performs the surgery and does a remarkable follow-up. After a 4 month convalescence, I can resume all my activities without restriction. (golf, tennis, training). I was looking for the best surgeon and luckily I found him. At 67, it's the best investment I could have made to maintain a good quality of life and good health. Thanks to you and your entire team, as well as your assistant Joelle. You form a very nice professional and competent team. Simply stated, Dr. Marc Beauchamp, Jolle, Caroline and the entire surgical team were sensational. I am a 63-year-old male living in Kingston, Ontario, about 300 km from Montreal. I needed rotator cuff repair surgery for a large full thickness tear of the infraspinatus tendon resulting from a recent sports injury. I had a consult with a surgeon in Kingston and learned that given the pent-up demand and the enormous backlog for urgent surgeries due to the impact of Covid19, it would likely be 1 to 2 years for surgery and another year for recovery. I immediately commenced investigation into private healthcare options, which had to be outside of the Province of Ontario. I explored opportunities in Mrida, Mexico, the US, and western Canada. I then discovered Dr. Beauchamp based in Montreal. I was extremely impressed after performing due diligence. Excellent reviews, top notch experience at a more than reasonable fee compared to the other options -- even before travel considerations and expenses were factored in. It made for an easy decision. I had a consult with Dr. Beauchamp in early May 2022 and met him and his administrative team, Jolle and Caroline. They were all extremely friendly and welcoming and put my wife and I immediately at ease. The office and surgical suites are in the same location and are state of the art. During my consult with Dr. Beauchamp, it became apparent that not only was he very personable, but he was also an active listener and focused on the matter at hand my shoulder. (I would soon find out in 3 weeks that he is also a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon!) He provided some specialized treatment for my shoulder in the form of an injection guided by his use of ultrasound. It provided immediate relief and would set the stage for surgery in 3 weeks. I should mention that Dr. Beauchamps use of ultrasound during all pre and post-op visits was a definite value-added benefit. Being able get real-time diagnostic information was helpful and reassuring especially with him describing what I was seeing on the monitor. I have since done some research with an online group with 171 shoulder surgery recipients throughout North America to see if others received this service and no one had. I was quite impressed. I was well briefed on what to expect on the day of surgery as well as post-surgery, so there were no surprises. I am pleased to say the surgery process went extremely well from the moment we arrived at the office to leaving. Everyone involved was polite and professional starting with the anesthetists and finishing with the nurse instructing and fitting me with an immobilizer sling. It was a well-oiled operation to say the least. In addition to repairing the rotator cuff, Dr. Beauchamp also performed a bursectomy and acromioplasty. I received a follow-up call the next day by the head nurse to check on me. During the post surgery stage, I had a zoom call with Dr. Beauchamp after 2 weeks when the stitches came out and then appointments in Montreal after 3 months and 5 months where he examined my strength and range of motion. As mentioned, he used ultrasound to view the status of my shoulder, which was both fascinating and reassuring. My physiotherapy treatments and my own hard work doing regular exercises really moved things along leading to Dr. Beauchamp releasing me from his care with no restrictions after the 5-month appointment. This was 2 months ahead of what was anticipated at the beginning of the journey. The great news is that I was able to get home in time from Montreal to play a round of golf. What was fitting is that I birdied the very first hole I played, which nicely summed up my spectacular experience with Dr. Beauchamp Ortho. If you require shoulder surgery, you need to look up Dr. Beauchamp!
