We just spent the weekend here and it was an indulgent treat but still affordable. We had a deluxe room and we were surprised by how big it was - separate room for the bedroom and 2 full bathrooms and a complete kitchen. The view of the lake made hanging out on our balcony very pleasant. The restaurant had good and bad - the food was excellent, but the server did not tell us tip was included (even after we tipped on top of that price) - it was only at the bar afterwards where that server was honest. Also, you can't get a coffee without paying for a full buffet breakfast (24$ per person on a normal day, but it was 39$ each today!! for mothers day - same buffet btw - and the buffet wasn't opening til 930.) I called at 8am and the receptionist said there is no room service and to come to the restaurant, and at the restaurant they said nope no coffee to go). This is very strange to me, I've never been to a hotel that didn't offer coffee to guests during the reasonable morning hours. Otherwise a cozy and pleasant stay. The hotel was empty for off season. There was tons of cozy seating in the lobby and the bar, the pool and hot tub were empty and we had a nice walk on the beach and grounds. I would recommend this hotel for sure.
