Original review: My experience with Sonia was good during a private lesson. She encouraged me to join her afternoon group class, which I did. However, during this group class she seemed tired, stressed, neurotic even, and was short tempered with me on multiple occasions as witnessed by others in the class. Conversely, she seemed very nice with most other students. Perhaps I was less experienced than others and needed more guidance, or I asked questions that annoyed her. For example, she doesnt teach students how to adjust patterns to their own measurements. She goes over it quickly and does it for you. This means one doesnt really learn during the workshop and has to keep coming back if they want to sew. Anyway, this experience left me feeling discouraged and deflated when all I wanted was to learn a new hobby to forget COVID I finished the course with an unfinished project and have not sewn since.

Just add a private sewing course and my only regrets is not to have done it earlier. Sonia is a great teacher, very patient and an expert. I recommend la Fabrique Ethique whether you are working on a project or just want to learn a new skills that will definitely help in life or maybe save the day.
