Here's all you need to know about Capreit: 1) the only people they care about is their INVESTORS. Tenants don't matter at all. 2) The employees who work in the office will lie to tenants (most of whom are recent immigrants) in order to avoid doing their job. They think we are all stupid. 3) if for some reason you decide to call/send an email to complain you will be told "Senior Management" will get in touch. Don't wait for them to call/write, they never do. I'm not sure Senior Managers exist. Perfect example: They just hired a company to redo the outside of one of the buildings on Benny Crescent. Just like Capreit employees they hardly work and inconvenience us as much as possible. Out of spite they keep the access to the lane behind the building blocked even though there is no reason. Didn't bother complaining to Capreit. Oh and no notification before work started. So know this, despite their public image, Capreit does not care at all. I've been renting since 1985 and I've never been treated as bad as I have by CAPREIT.Worst "real estate" (read investment) company ever.
