The landlady Mala is a racist person. The place is full of cockroaches. Do not rent in this building. She is a compulsive liar as well. Run away.

It's sad that I have to put even 1 star. Where do I begin... From rats and cockroaches... To malfunctioning mailboxes... Faulty doorbells... And doors that even open until you pull/push them with all your might... And there's a huge problem with the landlady, Mala... You won't find her there when you need her help... Her phone goes unanswered for days and there she shows up to take the rent in time... A racist lady who happens to be a liar and has problems with almost every tenant in the building... Beware!! You just don't get a bad apartment... You get a lot of added problems and a manipulative, racist, money-minded landlady who doesn't give a damn about the well-being of her tenants!!

Okay, where do I start. The day I moved in, the apartment was not clean. Both the kitchen and toilet sink taps were leaking. I saw cockroaches in the following days. I informed the landlady to call an exterminator many times. She didn't. I stayed in that place for 3 months and the moment I woke up with bedbug bites, I couldn't take any longer, I decided to leave and transfer my lease. I found 2-3 people who were interested to take the lease. But every time I let them meet my landlady, she acted very weird with them (sometimes racist!). I understood she won't let anyone take my lease, she will just scare people off with her racist and inappropriate behavior. So, at the end, I had to pay her one month's of extra rent for the lease cancellation even though I had people interested in the apartment! She just wanted my money and also rent it off for the same month to someone else without telling me so that she can have double rent for one apartment. Stay away from this apartment...From Mala (yes that's her nickname)for your own sake. At first glace, the apartment will look spacious for such price. But don't let her fool you with all her sweet talks and stories. She lets drug dealers and other criminals stay in her place. Don't believe in everything she says. She will always try to play victim but she has problems with almost every single tenants of her apartments. I caught her lying in many occasions. I am glad that I left that place. But you, be careful.
