    Le Marcus was our first place in Canada. The building is new, very functional, the communal areas are always very clean, organized, very close to metro station, near supermarket and pharmacy, and not far from downtown. The Landlord is very efficient and always available to solve any kind of situation. He speaks many languages (French, English, German and Portuguese) and was always respectful with my family. If you want a place where good rules of coexistence between neighbours must be respected, Le Marcus is the place.

    Le Marcus is an amazing place to call home. The upkeep of the building is top-notch, with pristine cleanliness in the communal areas. For those who may need repair work done, the landlord has proven to be highly responsive. This apartment complex is also conveniently located, five minutes away from the subway station.

    WARNING do not move here. This is by far the worst landlord I have ever encountered. Petty, vindictive, liar. The building itself, which looks nice on the outset, has some shotty work, were things fall apart. Meant to be luxury apartments, but for some reason that doesnt include basic things like a pole in the closet When things would obviously break he would accuse that its our fault, and threaten that we had to pay for everything. All the amenities have weird arbitrary rules no one agreed to like needing to ask permission to invite friends over, the terrace closes really early at 9pm, for whatever reason... This is the type of landlord that freakishly watches the security cameras and will comment on breaking the rules. He then intimidates his tenants with fines and threatens to cut all amenities if we don't respect these rules (which is illegal). Things were so bad that I had to resort to the tribunal for services owed. When I ended up winning, he refused to pay for the longest time, and had the gaul to say that I was lying in front of the court. Since then however, he proceeded to raise my rent by 102$, compared to the other tenants who had their rents raised around 30$. In Quebec, section F states that you cant contest price hikes when the building is less than 5 years old. Therefore all of these apartments are prey to abusive price hikes, and knowing whos behind it, its just a matter of time.
