Pat Pink runs one of the best galleries in Montreal. She not only represents a fine group of artists but she has great curatorial sensibilities. I love going to the exhibitions that she presents. Never been to any one that's been dull. They've all been uniquely original without relying on the shock/horror of the " ... and now for something completely different" forced effort. For example, the last show whose vernissage I attended on September 8, 2019 was co-curated by Allan Martin, one of Pat's artists. It involved a ledge which Allan built onto the walls of the gallery. All of the paintings and small sculptural art work were arranged together on this ledge. There were some small installations along this shelf but the effect of this group show was itself like a salon-style installation. Fun, and visually exciting. If you have become disheartened with the direction that many of fine art's venues (galleries) have taken, visit Espace Pink - a space that is guaranteed to lift your spirits.
