We were looking for a spot nearby that offered something sweet to eat after our meal on a Friday night. We stumbled upon this location and the first thing we noticed was the friendly and welcoming service from the staff (owner?) at the counter, who explained what they had to offer. He even let us sample a mooncake and some cookies, which was definitely an appreciated gesture. We ended up buying a couple of their homemade mooncakes; one lotus and one matcha. Once we got to eating, we were thoroughly impressed. My friend claimed that the lotus paste was among the best he's had in Montreal, and he also liked the matcha paste despite not being a big fan of matcha in general. I haven't had too many of these types of cakes myself, but I really enjoyed them as well. Goes especially great with some tea! We will definitely come back when we're in the area!
