I like the store. They have great items and i go there from time to time. This is especially true since i live in the area. I only have one gripe. On Saturday, May 13, i went there after having gone to the gym. No one was at the door but there were a couple of people inside looking at the jewelry. As soon as i walked in, the cashier announced himself then placed himself at the entrance, facing inwards (back facing the market place) as a bouncer would. I immediately got uncomfortable because he was fine behind the cash prior but suddenly felt the need to guard one of the 2 entrances after i entered (i am a black woman). I didnt bother at first. I came in for a candle initially but changed my mind when i saw a spray bottle (Brume d'ambiance: Coco playa). Loved it. Purchased and went on my merry way. I didnt say anything the day of because i felt he was doing his job but after a while, i felt that he assumed that i was the only person in the room who would steal. I was the only person of color. Anyway, wanted to go back and talk to him about it but i do not feel comfortable enough to go back. Whites, and others, are just as capable of stealing. Maybe get a security camera or 2 of concerned. It is better than making clients uncomfortable.
