Bodega is certainly a nice-looking place with an assortment of snacks and sweets. For example, I had their chocolate olive oil cake, which was fantastic. Very soft and moist with a great flavour. The issue is the quality of their espresso. I had a cappuccino (which was too foamy to actually be a cappuccino, but I digress), which turned out to be rather disappointing. The espresso is clearly not well-roasted, tasting more like a Starbucks roast than a good specialty roast. This throws off the flavour of the cappuccino with a resounding note of bitterness. Not high enough quality for the price, especially with their competition just a block away that serves specialty coffee with great roasts. Overall, I don't think Bodega is worth the money. Go down the street and you'll find a place that is. Dietary restrictions: Many vegan and gluten-free options are available. They will substitute milk of many varieties for you.
