Café Lali

I stopped in at Cafe Lali while visiting from Ottawa and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the coffee and baked goods! Cafe Lali also supports local artists, and is worth stepping in just to see the art. I'll certainly be back the next time I'm in Montreal!

Today was the first time I went to this cafe. I went here because I saw it had good reviews and they have vegan and gluten free options. I came here to see a friend and catch up. After an hour and a half we were told that if we dont buy something else then we would have to leave. I have been to many coffee shops and I have never had this experience.

I'm impressed. Two lovely, patient, considerate ladies served me at the cash, quality baked goods available, interesting local art on walls, quaint atmosphere, great sunny corner location. Cozy and on-point Qubec-Montreal-feeling. Limited seating is part of the charm though there is an 8-person work table on second floor for laptop-ing. Vegetarian options: Vegan baked goods
