Worst customer support among Canadian insurance/investment companies I came across. Have people I know with Manulife and Great West and none run into the same issues as we consistently and repeatedly do with Sunlife. Sunlife agents often do not know what they are talking about, give various incorrect bits of info, contradict their own colleagues, and have no interest in finding accurate information. Several claims require escalations due to automatic denials just due to sheer laziness and incompetency. Website is a convoluted patchwork of missing information, stuck in last decade. No other insurance company has such a shoddy site. Overall, any other insurance company is a better option than this one.
