We were at daycare for 4 1/2 years, so needless to say I know the daycare very well. Unfortunately since March of 2020 , since Covid there has been a huge decline in service at daycare. Management has had a hard time keeping staff since the beginning of our daycare journey; but especially since Covid hit. Kids do not go outside throughout the day, because they are under staffed. Classes are mixed & age groups lumped together making for more free play than a educational experience they list they provide.parents are not aloud inside daycare making it very easy for them to hide whats really going on inside. Recently over last 6 months my son would tell me the kids were doing the exact same routine all day/ everyday. What pushed me to leave was when my son told me teacher were letting kids watch shows on cellphones during the day & he literally would recite the exact same experience day in and out. The head educatrice has done a few very unprofessional things in our time there like for ex) she hid my stroller to teach me a lesson because we forgot to fold it up, instead of just coming to speak to me & or my husband. When I confronted her about my stroller being stolen I was brought into the office & scolded. When I decided to leave daycare she refused to respond to multiple emails I sent her asking about procedure. Nor could she call me to set up a conversation. She acted very unprofessional & immature as I am currently 7 months pregnant I was not attending pick up & Im really upset that she couldnt reach out to have a grown up conversation, instead I got a bill for 430$ which I could of avoided if she had responded 3 weeks before for exit strategy.
