After Covid-19 I went to see if I could find a bargain at their liquidation sale. The sale was great. The Bay can be great. Neo Financial not so much, IMO. Bay staff were courteous and knowledgeable but the lady on fifth floor convinced me to apply for what I thought was a loyalty card but turned out to be a credit card connected to Neo Financial and the company seemed more interested in grabbing as much personal information from me as possible over the internet and who knows how secure that was. The person on the phone kept saying my ID wasn't verifying who I was when the bar code did work, did verify who I was and passed out all kinds of personal information to them through some form over the internet, which I regret big time doing. I also claimed my profile, which was sort of a useless process too. I don't want a credit card from Neo Financial because I think their technology isn't as sophisticated as they seem to be claiming or the process would have worked, IMO, and they were not being clear how secure their personal information mining efforts actually were and I regret allowing the clerk on the fifth floor push me into applying for what I thought at the time was a loyalty card. I actually went back up to tell her that it was a credit card not a loyalty card she got me to apply for but another customer was trying to figure out how much cash back she was really getting and it sounded like a huge hassle and time guzzler to waste your Saturday afternoon figuring out Neo Financial data mining processing or whatever it is, a company that I have never heard of before, until now. Put a stain on my shopping experience at this Bay store, IMO. Before Covid-19 It seemed rather expensive so I took a look at Winners which had much better prices.
