first experience there was a very negative one. Scheduled a colon cleansing treatment. During my appointment, the treatment did not work on me after two attempts, the practitioner said that she cannot go forward anymore. They still charged me the full session although no service was rendered after only 10-15mins into my appointment. I argued that its not right to charge full, They justified it by saying its the equipment cost. The session cost 100/125$ , the cost of a the plastic disposable equipment is a very tiny fraction of that. Made no sense at all but I still paid it. On top of that, After payment, the practitioner wanted to sell me their products. Unreasonable place, if something goes wrong, they are not fair. Badly handled.

Would give 0 stars if I could!! I made an appointment with Clinique L'Aube for some acne issues I've been experiencing. I met with a first naturopath consultant who was very detached and impersonal. The whole appointment consisted of her giving me a biology lesson on the inner workings of the digestive system and how vital it is to eliminate toxins. This is taught in Grade 10 Biology class, and most people have a vague understanding of this science, including me. Next, she recommends to me a 3 week plan that consisted of 80% of things that I was already eating for a while (raw fish, greens, whole foods, organic fruits and vegetables). I had been eating most of these things for approximately 2 months before consulting with the naturopath, so this was not a solid plan, since I wasn't seeing a difference with these foods anyway. Not only that, but she prescribes none other but the Cliniques own CLEANSING DRINK, a drink that consists of aloe, chlorophyll, and one scoop of laxative powder, along with 4 laxative supplements to take EVERY DAY. Might I add, that this is DOUBLE the recommended dose as suggested by Health Canada. This is a dangerous drink! Additionally, this meeting was an hour and a half monologue. She was completely disinterested in my opinion on what the issue may be, and was very dogmatic the whole time. Alas, I accepted, half out of desperation, half out of "well I paid for this appointment, might as well try it out", not realizing how many laxatives that actually was!!!! After we were done the appointment, she rushed us out, gave us the four products and didn't not offer any chance to communicate with her in the future, in the possible event that something goes wrong. As I felt very dejected after that first appointment, they offered a free appointment with another naturopath to make up for my disappointment after the first. Little did I know, this naturopath had the same exact agenda, with the same exact prescription. But since she was more empathetic and seemingly trustworthy, I decided to give this plan another shot. This cleansing drink and four laxatives A DAY put my entire system on absolute overdrive. I have been uncomfortable, I have been experiencing pains in my pelvic area, I have been gasey, and I don't even want to mention how my eliminations have been going, it is THAT awful. When I called to request some help and advice to aid my awful persisting 2 week diarrhea, the naturopath simply said, "you don't understand naturopathy, we did everything we could to try to explain it to you, there's nothing more we could do to help you." Meanwhile, they left me with awful diarrhea and stomach pains. And now one week after that call, I have been experiencing the worst constipation of my life. THEY TRULY WRECKED MY SYSTEM. And I can assure you, that no matter what problem or ailment you walk in that door for, they will prescribe the exact same thing for you. You could have a sinus infection and they will link it to your colon just for the opportunity to sell you their infamous drink. So now, not only am I 400$ poorer, I am I left with the same old acne I had in the first place, but also a barely functioning colon! I am very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy of this institution. They only have one agenda, and that is to sell their products and their doctrine, no matter what your problem may be. STAY AWAY!!
