This is a tough review to write because I loved so much about this hotel. Our room was amazing. In my opinion, we had the best location in the hotel - top floor, corner unit, down a hallway without being near the elevator or next to any rooms! As a result, the room was very quiet. We could not hear anyone in the hallways or coming or going from their rooms. I'm sure this isn't the case for most of the rooms. Inside the room, everything is super modern and so well-designed. There is a ton of closest space for your clothes, as well as a sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, sofa, table and chairs, and really cool pendant lamps. The bathroom is a bit small, but very well designed. Our room had three giant windows with beautiful views of the city. The bed is comfortable, but a little too soft. Two people tend to sink into it. Ok, here's where I had to take off a star. We arrived on a Saturday after a 5-hour drive. We wanted to shower and go out. The shower had no hot water. I ran it for 20 minutes and still no hot water. I called down to the front desk, and though he was apologetic, he said they couldn't do anything about it. And since the hotel was full, we couldn't change rooms. I wouldn't have changed rooms anyway because as I said earlier, I think we had the best location in the hotel! The next morning, I turned on the hot water in the kitchen sink, the bathroom, and then the shower, and that seemed to clear whatever air was in the pipes, and we did end up with hot water. BUT, the water trickled out of the shower. It was like showering under a water fountain. Yes, it was warm enough to shower, but it was not a very satisfying shower. When we came home for the evening, the room had not been cleaned, even though we had placed the Service Room sign on the door. Again, I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, which he nicely gave me, but since housekeeping didn't come, we didn't have any coffee pods or sugar for the next morning. I don't know if anyone ever came to look at the hot water. The shower continued to just dribble out for the rest of our stay. I'm not sure if being on the top floor results in the low pressure, but it's very disappointing given the beauty of the room. One of the light bulbs in the pendant lamps above the dining table was also burnt out. I put a note in French to replace the light bulb. I even told housekeeping and showed them the light, but when we came home, it wasn't replaced. Overall, I would come back to Hotel Zero.

Nearby activities: We did two guided tours and the bus driver picked us up both times. Walkability: The hotel is in a great location. There are restaurants near by along with public transportation. Food & drinks: They only serve breakfast at the hotel which we only did once. The cost was a bit high but everything was fresh.
