Nice hotel but they charged me for the mini bar that I didnt touch. When I called them to ask about the charges they said they would email me and I never heard back. Didnt even ask what the incorrect charges were.

I arrived in Montreal and drove straight to the hotel. It was around noon, they told me that check in wasn't until four but they could hold my bags. No problem, we spent the time exploring the city. When we arrived at the hotel just before four o'clock we waited while others were being checked in. When we got to the desk, there was suddenly a wifi issue and card machines would not work (although they worked for the previous guests just seconds before), so we patiently waited while they rebooted the system. We waited for over an hour. When I eventually asked for an estimated time they said 10-15 minutes more. We decided to go to a delicious cafe nearby (Humble Lion) to have some tea. When we walked back about 45 minutes later, there was a long line to check in, so we waited again. After 20 further minutes, right before we were going to walk up to the desk, they told us that they needed to reboot the system again and it'll take some time. They said "So sorry girls, I know you've been waiting about 2 hours now!" We waited a further 15 minutes when they finally checked us in. The problem isn't that the systems were down, things happen. The problem was how they treated us. There we sat, waiting to give them money, and they could not have cared less or tried to ease it at all. As our room was prepaid, they could've offered for us to go to the room to wait, and to call us when the system was up. We have been awake 48 hours at this point, travelling. We have travelled the world, and this was among the coldest welcomes we have ever recieved. We would have been more happy to wait if they had been kind or even offered us a tea or coffee. We called down to ask what time breakfast was and they said 7:00 to 11:00. The following morning, We slept in due to our intense travel the previous days. We got to breakfast right before 10, which is included in our stay. They said breakfast was closing and it finished at 10:00. I told them the front desk had said 11 and they just raised their arms and confusion, carried over a sign and showed us it said 7-10. While cleaning up, they allowed us to take some fruit and bread, which was stale, and had clearly been left over from the previous days. We ended up getting breakfast out. Do not stay at this hotel. Spend your money elsewhere.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we came back after a fantastic first trip. The hotel is in a convenient location for walking around Montreal- we did not try the metro. Our room was at the end of the hall and our wifi did not work at all. We were working remote and had to spend our days jumping around coffee shops and restaurants to get working wifi, as there wasnt any place at the hotel we could work. Many places nearby have no laptops signs so this was a bit of a challenge. If you are not working on your trip, this will likely not be an issue for you.
