this restaurant has the most beautiful courtyard in Montreal, hidden away, yet right near the museum of fine arts. the food is terrific and not ridiculously expensive. i had the pasta al vongole and grilled pleurote mushrooms and both were perfectly done, well-seasoned and not over salted. my only complaint was that the two waiters who approached our table were not fully informed. James, who ended up doing most of the service, appointed himself well, after a somewhat uneven start. we enjoyed our meal and i look forward to a return this summer.
