We had a group of six and it took us more than 1.5 hours to get a seat on a Saturday night. That being said the food was good but the drinks are desserts were the highlight for me. Yuzu beer and ginger beer was amazing. The black tea soft serve ice cream was the best part!!! Get the homemade ice cream for sure. Food wise it was a little over hyped: I read the reviews on google and a lot of people recommended the tuna salmon bowl so I ordered it. It was good but wasnt fully worth the hype, it felt like it had more salad in it that salmon, instead I would recommend ordering the 48 hr pork or lamb. The fried beans for appetizer was good and came in a large portion.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Montreal. Small place with open kitchen concept, 4 seats at the kitchen bar and 7 tables that fit two or four. There's usually a lineup outside as they don't take reservations so it's first come first serve. We went at 5pm and we were five. We waited 20 to be seated which was amazing considering there were lots of people already at the place. We had the salmon tartar, crispy black cod and Kalbi beef. Each dish was incredibly delicious and beyond satisfying. We also enjoyed their tofu kimchi appetizer. Their ice cream is not to be missed. This place is a must for those with a refined palate for Japanese and Korean food. The next time I go, I want to experience sitting at the bar to watch the chefs do their magic.
