(Translated by Google) What a great choice of frames! What kindness and what hospitality! Marie really took the time to adjust my glasses to the small onions for me. She was so patient with my lingering indecision.... I will return to this clinic which offers stylish frame choices. I felt professionalism and passion. Here I am with sunglasses made especially for me. I found my clinic.

Two years ago I purchased two pair of glasses at this store. One pair was reading only and the other was for driving. As a driver of a bus I carried with me both pairs but recently I decided to order two pair of glasses and both would be equipped with lens for reading and driving. To make this possible I bought another frame and decided to recycle my reading glasses into a pair for two tasks The frame that I used was a frame that had an issue months before with one of its supporting arms which had to be replaced more than 12 months after my initial purpose . The fee was $28 because the guarantee period was over ( no guarantee after 12 months ) No guarantee was offered on the replacement arm. If a store that sells glasses can not extend the guarantee for a longer period of time does it mean that products like this do run into issues for which the store does not want to pay The store should be upfront and inform buyers which frames last trouble free, while other frames are as delicate as a ferrari suspension that had to speed over 20 of Montreals potholes in less than 3 min Ouch Since I have spent 58 dollars on replacement arms in the last 18 months does that mean that I can expect to spend another 58 in the next 18 months? Does that mean that this product is designed to last? Omg it means that I am stuck with an ongoing maintenance fee to change the arm that will fail again and again When I bought my first two lens plus the frames my total bill was up there up there means over 600 Plus another 28 I had to pay for a replacement arm of support because the support arm decided to become broken Recently while filling out a questionnaire at the STM the same frame that had an issue decided to become broken again as the arm separated from the frame So I go back to the same store who order another arm to replace an arm on the same frame which costed another $28 No guarantee after 1 year No guarantee that a replacement part wont fail Fork over the money and since the arm was designed for that model it is probably impossible to retrofit the same frame by a generic arm The customer service rep in the store did not want to offer the 2nd replacement arm on the house even though it was the 2nd time the same customer experiences the same problemo I suggest to anyone considering buying glasses anywhere , to use my experience as a what if scenario so that you can insist the store extends to you a guarantee period that goes beyond 12 months or will replace a faulty part out of courtesy while knowing the manufacturer will give a credit to compensate the store The employees are patient helping customers pick a frame, but failed to inform me that the frame could have a problem within 2 years of purchase The representative said that she called the manufacturer and after talking to them she said she could not offer a free replacement arm That will be $28 sir The invoice do I print it or mail it to you? Mail it I am the one holding the bag The store did not offer to meet me even half way I guess they dont need my business again Fine I expect that the arms of this pair will fail again I wont be replacing them when that happens I will go somewhere else buy another frame and have them move the lenses from the frames with faulty arms to a new frame that I hope can last without $28 surprises Merci Et lches pas

image Two years ago I purchased two pair of glasses at this store. One pair was reading only and the other was for driving. As a driver of a bus I carried with me both pairs but recently I decided to order two pair of glasses and both would be equipped with lens for reading and driving. To make this possible I bought another frame and decided to recycle my reading glasses into a pair for two tasks
The frame that I used was a frame that had an issue months before with one of its supporting arms which had to be replaced more than 12 months after my initial purpose . The fee was $28 because the guarantee period was over ( no guarantee after 12 months )
No guarantee was offered on the replacement arm.
If a store that sells glasses can not extend the guarantee for a longer period of time does it mean that products like this do run into issues for which the store does not want to pay
The store should be upfront and inform buyers which frames last trouble free, while other frames are as delicate as a ferrari suspension that had to speed over 20 of Montreals potholes in less than 3 min
Ouch
Since I have spent 58 dollars on replacement arms in the last 18 months does that mean that I can expect to spend another 58 in the next 18 months?
Does that mean that this product is designed to last?
Omg it means that I am stuck with an ongoing maintenance fee to change the arm that will fail again and again
When I bought my first two lens plus the frames my total bill was up there up there means over 600
Plus another 28 I had to pay for a replacement arm of support because the support arm decided to become broken
Recently while filling out a questionnaire at the STM the same frame that had an issue decided to become broken again as the arm separated from the frame
So I go back to the same store who order another arm to replace an arm on the same frame which costed another $28
No guarantee after 1 year
No guarantee that a replacement part wont fail
Fork over the money and since the arm was designed for that model it is probably impossible to retrofit the same frame by a generic arm
The customer service rep in the store did not want to offer the 2nd replacement arm on the house even though it was the 2nd time the same customer experiences
the same problemo
I suggest to anyone considering buying glasses anywhere , to use my experience as a what if scenario so that you can insist the store extends to you a guarantee period that goes beyond 12 months or will replace a faulty part out of courtesy while knowing the manufacturer will give a credit to compensate the store
The employees are patient helping customers pick a frame, but failed to inform me that the frame could have a problem within 2 years of purchase
The representative said that she called the manufacturer and after talking to them she said she could not offer a free replacement arm
That will be $28 sir
The invoice do I print it or mail it to you?
Mail it
I am the one holding the bag
The store did not offer to meet me even half way
I guess they dont need my business again
Fine
I expect that the arms of this pair will fail again
I wont be replacing them when that happens
I will go somewhere else buy another frame and have them move the lenses from the frames with faulty arms to a new frame that I hope can last without $28 surprises
Merci
Et lches pas
