2140 Rue Guy Parking

This parking lot has no watch and not safe at all. I parked my car at this parking lot at around 1pm on Feb 18th, the first time I came to Canada. When I came back at 8 pm, I found everything in the car was messy, my laptop and down jacket was stolen. But I definitely locked the car before I left. I called 911, and the police said that the thieves might be just staying around the parking lot, and scanning the signals between the car and key fob. Then they transmitted the signal to someone near the car after they copied the radio signal. They can even steal the car depending on the signal strength. So there are always thieves hanging around. The thieves even left someone elses items in my car. It shows that they must have broken into many cars. Ironically, several police cars were just parking outside, as there were protests on the streets. The police should watch the surveillance footage to find out more, though I dont know whats going on right now.
