Avoid Adina Singer at all costs. She traumatized me. I saw her two years ago and I still think about how bad it was. It also took me this long to speak about it. I would just like to avoid this pain to someone looking for a psychologist. Super judgy which is shouldnt be present part of her job description. I am still baffled by what happened.

I simply wanted to make an appointment with a therapist. Every time I called I have to explain the reasons why, they try so hard to sell me on CBT therapy as if they will receive a commission based on this? Ive been given 3 different appointment dates and they call to say the person I talked to on the phone made a mistake and these therapists arent accepting new clients. Finally they told me they have a therapist for me and I get a confirmation email saying its actually an intern which nobody told me on the phone. I try to call and cancel, I get disconnected, I call back and im put on hold for 15 min just to be connected to a voicemail to leave a message. Why cant I simply make an appointment with a registered therapist, Im not sure?? The staff seems poorly trained and the whole experience was very off-putting. Ive now had countless phone calls with this place, reexplaining my reasons for wanting therapy and listening every time to a sales pitch on CBT therapy, yet somehow, I still dont have a therapist. Im unsuccessful at trying to cancel my appointment with the intern they didnt tell me was an Intern. This has been an epic waste of time. When you pay $150/ hour for a service you expect more professionalism.
