This business also rents residential units. One of their properties was advertised on Facebook Marketplace for a lease transfer at a certain price. Two associates from SVN held an open house and showed the apartment to many potential tenants and accepted applications. I attended and submitted an application. I was called to come into the SVN office for an interview a few days later with the building owner. The building owner was 35 minutes late and no apology was given. I ended up just having a five minute meeting with the two associates who had showed me the apartment. They asked me two questions that were included as part of my application. They then told me that they were interviewing 7 other potential tenants and that, to be fair, the apartment would be offered to the highest bidder and asked if I would like to place a bid. No respect for peoples' time. Big slumlord energy.
