Do not stay here if you wish to sleep at all. We didnt read the reviews on this place before booking and that was a MAJOR mistake. You can hear very loud music from the bar next door all night. To add to that we could also hear every step (sounded more like loud jumps) by the person upstairs who seemed to be pacing backwards and forwards all night long. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very unhelpful. We called and emailed about the noise and they pretended to be surprised and said no other guests had ever mentioned the noise.

The negative reviews completely baffle me. My bff and I spent 4 fabulous days in Montreal and absolutely loved staying here. Note: this is not a traditional hotel - no bellhop, not someone at the front desk 24/7, no daily maid service and no elevator. But, the apartment we stayed in (room 301) was spacious, clean and we had our own bedrooms on the second floor. We were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic it was. The location in Old Montreal cannot be beat. Steps away from Notre Dame and a whole host of boutiques, bars, cafes and restaurants. Truly the best part of the city. So many have remarked on check in. I received a call two days before I arrived with instructions. There was a woman who greeted us upon arrival and it couldnt have been more seamless. On the negative side, we couldnt get the Netflix or Amazon Prime to work on the TV and neither could the guy at the front desk. But no big deal. We found a movie on regular TV. Ill be returning to Montreal soon and am definitely booking this hotel/apartment again.
