The Via Rail business lounge in Montreal is very cramped, small and dark compared to the one in Ottawa. This is unfortunate since Montreal is a busy station and this lounge gets very full during peak hours. However, the staff are courteous and there are enough coffee, soft drink and juice options.

(Translated by Google) Very nice spacious and comfortable living room. Very well ventilated. The staff is really nice. There is coffee and soft drinks, but there is nothing to eat, not even packaged things. That being said, I have no regrets about traveling in business class. Excellent place to relax before taking the train. The toilets are clean. (Original) Trs beau salon spatieux et comfortable. Trs bien ventil.

Took the train twice this week, and twice it was late, with us just sitting on the track waiting for other trains to pass us. Truly sad that they can't keep to their own schedule.

Well , I took a train from Toronto to montreal and I had a bad experience .When the train was about to leave I ask the lady if I could buy something to drink .She said a little later I will .So I ask is there some water I could drink she said yes I sell water . The water in the batroom come out hot so you dont want to drink it and its probably unsanitary anyways.to hours later after serving tje entire wagon she ask me If I wanted water ....duh !!!it was 2$ for a 500ml. The next thing is I was tired and fell aspleep and this other rude lady slaps me on the shoulder to wake me up to see my ticket. The 3rd thing is air conditioner was blasting , it was around 15 celsius in there.I caught a virus and now im sick .The last thing and the worst is the train arrived in Montreal one hour and a half late .making me miss the last metro to go back home that was a 148$ ticket. They said if we wanted we could ask for a 50% rebate for our next trip .NO THANK YOU !!! I will never use this train again and so do you terrible travel experience in my opinion.
