Hi. I am writing this message to let you know about a very important issue. I wanted to start a new career as my own was almost impossible to get in as a foreigner,so selected the IT and computer sciences certificate as YOU mentioned in the description that anybody can do it without any previous computer based background. After 3 months of efforts , I got admission and approved by afe. I started the course with much enthusiasm and was willing to finish it with a good median average. But as soon as I started the course, just after 2 classes, I realized that it was not possible for me to keep doing this course. The main reason is that "It is not for persons from any background," as mentioned on your description page. The lectures are very heavy to digest for a beginner with too much deep IT information , terminology, and workload. Imagine a person who knows nothing about IT, The teacher demands to play around with a bunch of new software and GIVE AN ASSIGNMENT to make an Ethernet. This is ridiculous. 1 year IT and computer science course in continuing education must be prepared in such a way that starts with very basic informations and slowly slowly introduce them to difficult tasks . But your course design is a complete disaster for beginners and people with no IT background . I am working very hard ,but I started getting panicked because I can't understand too much advanced level information in the very beginning of the course, and finally, I am thinking of dropping this course . SECONDLY, there is no support if I need to communicate with professors, have to write to the assistants, and never get answers from their assistants . Very bad experience from McGill. I was not expecting this from McGill University
