(Translated by Google) Very good stop. The museum is very pleasant with a beautiful view of the Baie des Chaleurs. You can go down to the beach and see the cliffs, but also take a nice walk and learn more about our ancestors from the Cretaceous and other periods. (Original) Trs bon arrt. Le muse est trs agrable avec une belle vue sur la baie des chaleurs. Vous pouvez descendre sur la plage et voir les falaises, mais aussi faire une belle ballade et en apprendre plus sur nos anctres du crtac et autres priodes.

We really enjoyed this museum and the surrounding area that you will get a tour of when you visit. They take you right on the water edge where the Elpistostege Watsoni was found, the missing link in our evolution history. Wow! Not to mention that this area was added to the UNESCO worldwide patrimony, which is great on its own. I just regret that the area, so rich in unique fossils is not better protected. The shore where the fossils are located are prone to inconsiderate visitors and water erosion, which is a true pity. There is also a nice hiking trail that starts at the bottom of the museum and that will take you through a sequence of informational signs explaining prehistorical times which was very interesting.
