In addition to offering a perfect combination of old-world charm, exceptional comfort, and tremendous value, this Bed and Breakfast is located in a wonderful area of Quebec City. We were able to walk to all of our planned destinations during our one week stay. There are numerous restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions in each direction. Quebec City is probably the safest city to which we have ever traveled as well. We walked at all hours of the day amongst friendly locals and other tourists, and we felt like we were in Europe throughout our stay. The homemade breads and breakfast items available each morning allowed us to start each day with a delicious meal while saving money for other travel expenses. This Bed and Breakfast is a treasure.

My friends and I enjoyed a lovely weekend in Quebec City in late summer and Castel d'Amerique Francaise was the perfect B&B. Jolanta was a lovely host. The hospitality, breakfasts, and room were wonderful, and added to our enjoyment. It was conveniently located in the downtown and everything we wanted to do was within waking distance. I would highly recommend staying here and hope we can come again sometime.

This was a charming French B&B in the heart of it all. Loved the decorwould love to find beaded bedside lamps like those! A light breakfast and delicious coffee or tea awaited us every morning. Drinking wine on the balcony at night was delightful. My only complaint was the steep stairs carrying a suitcase. But we made it!! Request a downstairs room if needed.

We loved this B & B. It greatly exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent - easy walk to the chateau, many restaurants and even a grocery store to stock up on snacks for the day. The breakfast was good in a lovely breakfast room. The hotel is in a beautiful building from 1870. The rooms are clean and the lady who runs this hotel is gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this B & B.
