First of all, the first meeting had been fixed around 11am. No one showed up and I was not notified until around 4 p.m. For the second meeting, the electrician seemed very in a hurry. This may have resulted in a lack of observation, planning and preparation. During the first attempt at installation, the power and charging cables were reversed and therefore inserted into the wrong holes in the charging station. Those of the charging cable have been enlarged for nothing, so that it is now a little loose in the hole. The bollard had to be tamped down a few inches to get the wires back into the correct holes, leaving unpatched holes in the house siding. A simple observation of the elements to be installed before starting would avoid these problems. Also, I had to provide him with a drill because none of his batteries were charged enough for the job at hand. Once the terminal was fixed in the right place, the first connection attempt caused a short circuit because one of the live wires had been connected to the ground. A spark came out of the charger. Quoique llectricien tait trs gentil et courtois, le travail a t bcl. Tout dabord, le premier rendez-vous avait t fix vers 11h le matin. Personne ne sest prsent et on ne ma avis que vers 16h. Pour le second rendez-vous, llectricien semblait trs press. Ce qui a peut-tre engendr un manque dobservation, de planification et de prparation. Lors de la premire tentative dinstallation, les cbles dalimentation et de recharge ont t inverss et donc insrs dans les mauvais orifices de la borne. Celles du cble de recharge a t agrandie pour rien, ce qui fait quil est maintenant un peu lche dans le trou. La borne a d tre tasse de quelques pouces pour replacer les cbles dans les bons orifices, laissant des trous non colmats dans le parement de la maison. Une simple observation des lments installer avant de commencer aurait viter ces problmes. De plus, jai d lui fournir une perceuse car aucune de ses batteries ntait assez charge pour le travail faire. Une fois la borne fixe au bon endroit, la premire tentative de branchement a engendr un court-circuit car un des fils vivant avait t branch sur le ground. Une tincelle est sortie du chargeur. Jespre que sa dure de vie na pas t ampute. Finalement, la borne est neuve mais a lair davoir dj quelques annes dusure en raison dun manque de soin lors de la manipulation et du perage. Voir la photo ci-dessous. Un courriel dinsatisfaction a t envoy lentreprise qui ma offert dinstaller un connecteur plus gros afin de solidifier le cble de recharge. Ce que jai refus car cela aurait demand une modification supplmentaire au cble de recharge pouvant potentiellement affecter la garantie du fabricant. Jai demand un rabais sur les frais dinstallation et on ne ma jamais rpondu. videmment, je ne recommande pas cette entreprise surtout si vos travaux sont de petite envergure.
