Please DO NOT use this company. Beware. They will tell you to replace your machine when you don't need to, they just want your money. After looking at my compressor for 2 minutes, the repair man named Mario Dupuis told me I need to buy a new wall air conditionner because my unit had no gas left in it. This 2 minute visit cost me 178$. I decided to get a second opinion from a different company. The repair man from the other company told me there WAS gas in my machine. He added a product that would fix any leaks if there were any & then added gas to my machine. It works fine now. I spent 450$ instead of 5000$ on a new machine, which would have required breaking the wall where my machine is located in order to replace it. This is because Excel, who installed it 8 years ago, cut corners and put all the wiring in the walls. I believe I was lied to in order to get me to buy a new machine with them. When I called to demand a reimbursement of the 178$, they said no because their repair man is correct. He told me I had NO OTHER OPTION. Meanwhile, I have a functional ac unit right now. It may only last a few more years, but it was still an option. On top of all this, I had left a message with the sales department to get a quote on a new machine before I decided to get a second opinion and weeks went by without anyone returning my call (They never did). If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save yourself the trouble and find another company. I have made an official complaint with the Office de Protection du Consommateur. I'm not sure if they only do this to young women who don't know anything about ac units, or if they do this to everyone. I suggest you do some research first to learn a bit about how these machines work and also that you ask lots of questions when a repair man comes to inspect your unit. *EDIT: 2 years later and my ac unit still works.
