I had a beautiful black fur coat that I've had for several years, and after noticing there was a small stain on the right chest area. I looked for a dry cleaning service in Montreal. I found Cleantitude that offered delivery services and used their app to have my coat dry cleaned. They in turn entrusted the dry cleaning of my fur coat to Martin Inc. However, once I received my fur coat back almost two weeks later I realized that there were at least three places near the button holes that had chunks of fur removed, the right chest area was blown up like a bad dry job, and the neck collar was also ruined with fur attaching at weird places and no longer making a complete circle around the neck. I immediately contacted Cleantitude with the photos of the ruined coat and asked for compensation for the damages. They told me they would contact Martin Inc who had dry cleaned my coat and get back to me with a solution. At this point, they also took my coat back to "assess the damage." A week or so later, a woman from Martin Inc called and instead of an apology or any solution to the damage they had caused, she started blaming me for having sent a coat that was already ruined. I made it very clear that the coat was in pristine condition apart from the stain in the right chest area, and Cleantitude could also confirm that the coat they picked up was in perfect condition. Then she resorted to saying that the coat was very old, and the fur started falling out because of that. I again reiterated how the coat was perfectly fine before they had dry cleaned it, and no fur ever fell out of the coat before that. Then the woman on the phone started talking about how she will talk to the employee who actually cleaned the coat, but wasn't there that day, and would call me back. I responded that she should definitely do so. However, I never received a response from Martin Inc again and Cleantitude contacted me to say that Martin Inc refused any and all responsibility for damaging the coat. I requested that they return my coat immediately, and I wanted to do nothing more with Martin Inc. One can imagine my dismay when I realized that my coat was returned with additional damage now on the left hand side of the coat. I am now left with a ruined fur coat and a company that refused to take responsibility. However, after reading all the reviews for this place and the quality of the responses left by the company, I should not have expected anything different.

They lost my wife's wedding dress that cost almost $11,000. To have something expensive go missing is one thing, but to lose something so sentimental and priceless is truly heartbreaking and unacceptable. Be careful when trusting them with your expensive and cherished piece of clothing. Based on the other reviews, it looks like this is not the first time they have messed up bad. I highly recommend you find someone else, it's not worth the risk.
