Nun's Island Cleaner

I have been using this dry cleaner since they opened as they are right next to home. I recently gave a shirt for cleaning that returned damaged, the bottom of the shirt in the back is ripped and damaged in multiple spots. I brought it back to the cleaner, where the owner first insisted that it was my dog that chewed it, and then insisted it had been done with scissors. My guess is that a staple, used attached to the labels they use to identify our clothes, ripped my shirt in the washing machine or dryer. There is no doubt that this shirt was damaged while in the cleaners possession. Dont get me wrong, accidents can happen, but it is important to own up to your mistakes. This shirt cost 150$ CAD, and is now good for the garbage. Once again, mistakes, accidents they happen, but at a business, they should take responsibility, and they didnt, instead looked for ridiculous reason to push the blame on me. They may have saved the cost of owning for their mistake, but they lost a customer, I will not be returning to this cleaner.
