Margad is an excellent real estate agent, and I would recommend her to my friends and family. I enlisted Margad to help me find and purchase my first home in Montreal. Margad was with us every step of the way during the search, negotiation, inspection, and closing to help us find the perfect place for us (we looked for about a month) and answer all my questions. She was always very responsive and was even able to help line up inspectors and notaries, as needed. She really made the home-buying process easy for someone who did not know what to expect. Thanks to Margad's brilliant help, we've bought our sweet home. She has helped us continuously throughout the entire lengthy process of finding and buying our house. Staying professional all the while friendly, she showed an excellent attitude towards us and we cannot thank her enough. Wow, wow, WOW! If you are looking for that perfect blend of: Knowledgeable, experienced, intelligent, approachable, structured, supportive, attentive, respectful and caring; Margad is the realtor for you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARGAD as your realtor! You will not regret it. Summary: - I emailed Margad once, she answered immediately. - She instantly worked with me and the sellers realtor. We were the first to visit the home, she proactively asked +++ questions I didnt think of that ultimately worked in my favour. - The next day, a bidding war ensued (height of the market - May 2022). We won! Even though a competitor bid higher. I became a home owner! - Margad independently advocated for the price to be decreased EVEN THOUGH it would decrease her commission, without me asking. - She answered every question and concern quickly, around the clock (I was in another time zone for a part of the process). - Margad is kind, skilled, and always puts your needs and interests FIRST. I felt like her number one priority at all times, she is proactive, responsive and attentive. - I look forward to working with her again! Long Version: I LOVE real estate! I had always dreamed of having a dreamy, modern retreat in nature. When I became financially capable as a single buyer, I searched for the perfect home for years obsessively. When I found the final contenders, ironically at the HEIGHT of the housing market, I reached out to realtors with many years of experience in the Laurentians to represent me. Unfortunately, I either gained no response despite many contact attempts, lukewarm sentiments or mediocre responsiveness. By some stroke of luck, I was referred to Margad. Although Margad was based in Montreal, not the high Laurentians, she instantly took me on as a client and became my person within minutes of sending the first e-mail. I have never experienced nor did I anticipate such INCREDIBLE service! Margad immediately contacted the sellers realtor, and went above and beyond to make me stand out from other buyers. Margad and I became the first visitors before the open house. She asked many questions I didnt even think to ask, that would ultimately play into my favour. She strategized and made excellent recommendations amidst the bidding war and our offer won, even though another couple bid more! During the negotiations, Margad was physically at the home inspection. I didnt even ask to and she independently advocated for the price to decrease significantly for my benefit EVEN THOUGH it would decrease her commission! And the sellers agreed! Margad always made me feel like her number one priority, especially with her actions. She answered every question and concern at lighting speed, around the clock (I was in a different time zone during negotiations). If ever she did not know the answer, she would ask a resource and find out speedily! Shes like a mix of your lawyer who fights for you and your interests and that one sweet friend that bring you baked goods and cares (she actually did bring baked goods for the staff at the mortgage signing). She made a complicated, stressful situation such as buying a house with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line, simple. I always felt in control, confident and well-informed.
