1 month ago I had a keyhole surgery with Dr. Chen Lee. This whole process was interesting; some months ago I was referred to him for the surgery and we weren't sure if we'd do a bilateral or keyhole until the day of the surgery. Looking at my pictures only at the time, Dr. Lee said I would be a good candidate for bilateral mastectomy. For me this was scary, I had to prepare mentally for whatever came next and I was incredibly lucky to get exactly what I had always hoped for. On the day of the surgery, I was the first to arrive and the first to be operated on that day. I was introduced to the surgical team before we began, which was a short but moving moment for me. Seeing the room of people that are going to help me start the first day of the rest of my life, smiling and happy to help, it really struck a chord. The whole staff at GRS Montral, from the doorman and secretary to the nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeons, everyone was very kind and took the time to explain things clearly and reassure me. I'm not open about my transition, I'm considered a "stealth" trans guy so being the first to come in and the first to leave definitely made me feel like they listened to my concerns and accommodated to the best of their ability, and I will be forever grateful for the treatment I received on February 24th 2023. I've never felt so well cared for in a hospital setting. As for the results, I couldn't be happier. We were worried about the skin dropping and leaving a shadow but my skin is holding tight along my chest as if there never had been anything there in the first place. Of course after a month only the incisions are still visible, but they're going perfectly along the areolas in a way that looks natural, considering the size of my areolas (which aren't pepperoni huge but they're about the size of a toonie). The sensitivity is slowly coming back as well. And for me the pain was more than bearable, I didn't end up needing any of the pain medication and only used the anti inflammatory once or twice to help the swelling go down in the first few days. Used ice for that as well. I had no complications after surgery. Dr. Lee, I can't thank you and your team enough. You've changed my life for the best and I am forever grateful.

I dont appreciate that he gaslit me into thinking my straight nose would have looked better ski slope shaped (and so I never proceeded with the rhinoplasty). First of all, that doesnt work with my phenotype. Second of all, I never came to you for that. By the way this happened exactly 8 years ago but I just got triggered by an old memory and had to leave this review now.

Dr Lee was my surgeon at the GRS clinic and he is wonderful. He's very meticulous and informs you of what to expect with your surgery and recovery in great detail.
