Dr. Dekis is amazing. After months of the family dr dismissing me, Dr. Dekis did the tests, listened to me. She is thoughtful detailed, she explains things so you can understand she is amazing I have the upmost respect for her.

I wish I could give this rating for the Kitchener area as this is where she is now practicing and I am so very happy she is!! I have been having chronic low back pain for 20+ years and my responses from physicians have range from disbelief (must be a drug seeker even though I'm a pharmacist) to "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do for you". I saw Dr. Dekis and within 2 months she had a verified cause for my pain and a comprehensive treatment plan that doesn't involve life long narcotic pain management. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, approachable and very down to earth. If you ever find yourself in need of a rheumatologist I couldn't rate her higher!!
