Beautifully crafted clothing; the store on Sherbrooke St. West has an excellent manager and staff. Personnel Knowledgeable and always ready to help one put together a personal look.

I am posting here because there is no contact information available for the Montreal distributor. I was invited to the Sarah Pacini warehouse sale this week. While things started out normally enough, I noticed that towards the end of my shopping experience that one of the sales girls would approach other sales associates who were assisting me, then would glance my way, following which the person to whom I had been speaking would glance my way, and then there would be some whispering. This occurred all the way to the line up for the check out, where two sales associates continued to glance at me and whisper. It is a mystery to me what was going on, but it was offensive enough that I removed $400 worth of items from my bag.... half of what I had intended to buy... because I didn't want to further financially condone such immature behaviour. As for the sale itself, the prices and selection were decent, apart from a large selection of damaged items with holes, tears, etc, that were $50 a piece. Not bad for a coat, I guess, but $50 for a ripped modal camisole was a bit audacious. As well, $100 scarves were misrepresented by the sales associate as being silk, when in fact it was 85% modal/15% silk. A "not damaged" sweater that I wanted had several obvious pulls on the sleeve, which the associate tried to convince me were "folds". All in all, what should have been a fun experience ended on a sour note. If the owner of the company happens to read this review, I would be interested in knowing what the whispering was all about. An extremely odd way to run a business, and certainly not the sort of service that would ever take me back to a full price Sarah Pacini store.
