        To call it a hike is an overstatement, but it makes for an educational walk through the past. Well written displays beside the path tell the story of the battle that took place in the spring of 1885, humanising the parties without demonising them. I would recommend it as a scenic picnic spot, or as the subject of a history report.

        Very impressed with the site. Very well manicured green space, sheltered table, binocular stand, outhouse, and plenty of plaques with information as you follow the path.
