We got our first lab, Tommy from Trailrunners and could not be more grateful for their expertise, knowledge, and for providing us with a dog who meets our needs but also fits perfectly into our family. Fran did a wonderful job of matching Tommy to our family and we couldnt be more grateful! Tommy is gentle, loyal, smart, driven, friendly, great with other dogs and people, and so much more. We are confident he will be bringing the ducks in soon enough! We will definitely get our future labs from Trailrunners. Seriously recommend Trailrunners for anyone looking for a working dog who can also chill out at home with the family! 10/10 experience!

A little late getting to this, but we sent our boxer, Ruger for training at Trail Runners this past summer of 2022. He is a much more well behaved dog and I feel so much more comfortable bringing him places with me. He is a big part of our family and we like knowing that he can be well behaved no matter where we go. I think the training we got as owners was almost as beneficial as what Ruger learned during his stay. Thanks Fran and team!

We recently took our dog Hunter to Trailrunners, and when he first got there we realized just how little control we had over him. When we let him out of the truck Hunter wouldnt listen to our command, he took off running to do his own thing, tugged on his leash, peed everywhere and was distracted and hyper. At the time we didnt realize how much dominance he had over us, but all of his bad behaviours stemmed from him believing he had the power. Now that we have him back, he is the definition of a 360 degree dog. Hunter now listens to our commands, he walks without a leash and at our heel, he doesnt get distracted, and hes no longer a hyper and jumpy dog. Hes so gentle and loving and we knew he had potential to be better but Trailrunners performed magic and made him a dog that we didnt know was even possible. We couldnt be more happy and thankful for all the work they did to give us the best behaved dog weve always wanted. Highly recommend!! :)

Our family has been impressed time and time again with Fran, Chris and their staff. A few years ago we brought our pitbull cross to Trailrunners for obedience training and she came back confident and well mannered where as before she had been anxious and a bit unruly. After learning how to handle my now well trained dog, Fran shared some information about proper nutrition for dogs as shed noticed some health issues in our dog. Our dog did indeed have chronic ear infections which had been repeatedly treated by the vet, but nobody seemed to know the cause. After following Frans advice, the ear infection cleared up and our dog hasnt had one since! A few years later my husband and I decided to talk to Fran and Chris about getting one of their Labs for hunting purposes but also as a family member since we had 4 kids. When they time came, Fran chose the puppy to fit our needs and he doesnt disappoint. He is a great looking dog with personality! He is gentle and obedient, fun loving and hard working which is exactly what we asked for. The obedience and gundog training and post training support at Trailrunners is incredible and we have become part of a fabulous community. I have always loved dogs, but was astounded at how much there is to know and you wont find a better teacher than Fran!

We are so thankful for what Trail Runners has done for our family. Before our puppy Django went to Trail Runners he was anxious, rambunctious, and didn't respect us . With a baby on the way we were nervous about how he would be once the baby arrived. Fran built his confidence. She helped him learn to control his excitement. She helped him understand that there is a time and a place for him to be his crazy goofy self. The most important thing that Fran did for us is she taught us how to help Django. She taught us how he thinks and how we can give him the best life. We enjoyed talking with and learning from her a lot. We have a lot less stress now. Django is now calm, gentle, and respectful. It was worth every penny and I would recommend to everyone.
