As a DIY Van Converter there have been challenges finding information I need on line to make informed decisions. After a frustrating search for seats a trail of web sites lead me to Paved To Pines. It was a thrill to see a Canadian referred to as an up-fitter partner by international manufacturers. I completed a form and booked a consultation not knowing what to expect. But could not have been happier !! Mitch was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and a great communicator. In a matter of minutes he got me on the right track. Unfortunately he couldn't help me directly, but rather than try and sell me something anyway he directed me to the help I needed. I am very pleased with the service I received and I'm comfortable recommending Paved To Pines to anyone looking for van or bus conversion. Dave

I took delivery of my Skoolie at Paved To Pines last April (2022) and drove it home to Ottawa. It has since been on two extended adventures to Canada's East Coast and some travel here in Ontario. It has performed exceptionally well - no issues at all with the build - it is very solid and well constructed. Steven and Mitchell and their team are great to work with, and the pride they put into their work shows. Am looking forward to more great trips starting in the spring with an extended trip to Canada's West Coast.

Mid way through the Pandemic, I decided that I wanted to check out of the rat race and live out my dream of driving from Toronto, Canada to Patagonia, Argentina (and back). I looked at hundreds of vans online and checked out at least two dozen in person until i found this van sitting in a lot in Alberta, two provinces over. Right away, I knew that this was the one for me! You could tell just looking at the pictures that this was a quality build and that much thought and effort had been put into its design and construction. I immediately put down a $5,000 deposit, bought a plane ticket to Edmonton and the rest, as they say, is history. After 14 months and 20,000km (and counting ), here are the top three things that I love about this van Quality: Ive driven over miles of unpaved Guatemalan roads, taken the van to remote locations where it had no business going (i.e. there were no actual roads), hit countless topes (Mexican speedbumps) at high speed and yet, everything in the van still functions as it did on day one. The countertops are still level, the cabinet doors are flush, the drawers slide in and out with ease, there are no leaks in the roof or the plumbing and amazingly, nothing squeaks! Layout: Cramming a bathroom, a full kitchen, a toilet, a shower, a bed, a lounge and an office space into 459 cu. ft. of space is no small challenge. But to make it comfortable, spacious, functional and aesthetically pleasing well, that takes some serious design skill! The folks at Paved to Pines nailed it! You would be forgiven for thinking im biased but, honestly, im not the only one who feels this way! Every time I pull into a new campground or RV park Im continually inundated with compliments by fellow VanLifers and believe me, they're a tough crowd to pelase! Service: Im not mechanically inclined and im sort of new to the whole vanlife thing so I ask a lot of dumb questions. How do you change out the water filter? If I install a dimmer switch, will it work with the LED lights in the main galley? How do you adjust the water pump shut-off pressure when you travel to higher altitudes? No matter how big or small the question, the crew at Paved to Pines is always willing to take the time out of their busy schedules to help me find a solution to my problem. High quality builders will stand by their products and make you feel like youre part of their family while cheap volume dealers will shift the blame and make you feel as if youre on your own. There are, of course, so many other things that I love about this build and honestly, i could go on and on for hours. If you wanna know more, hit me up and let's chat! In the meantime, trust me when I say that you wont regret your decision to partner with the folks at Paved to Pines on your dream build. Wishing you all the best with your journey through this wonderful Life! Khoi
