I arrived in Canada as a visiting student so all I needed was a simple chequing account but I couldnt even get an appointment with this bank. They had a special offer until a certain date for opening a new account so it was important to me to have an appointment before that date. After a first struggle of trying to get an appointment I was told they were going to call me back, which they never did. After I called again I finally got an appointment on the last possible day of this offer. Only to arrive to my appointment and find out it was cancelled and there are no more available that day. I was again told that I will be called back within 30 minutes. I never received a call back. I went to the bank across the street and was able to immediately open an account. I found the customer service was polite, but not really helpful and didnt give me a call back when they said so.
