Worst ever experience in my life. Be aware of this person ( Shayne Raffard). A lot of promises but nothing able to complete. All about cash pay. If intrested can discuss and describe in person. I'm preparing take him to court for failing contract. Good luck people in your rennovations and think twice before hiring contractors due to high cost. HIRE RESPECTED AND TRUSTED COMPANIES!!!

I booked with Symetrie through bidsy to fix my busted up backsplash and Shayne and his guys did a very good job. It ended up being more challenging than I think either of us expected but they did the work and got everything cleaned up quickly. They were always responsive and the quality of the work was a world ahead of the previous contractors. I'd hire Shayne again for sure.

Use caution when hiring Shayne Raffard or one of his companies, Symetrie Interiors or Prestige Renovations. I hired Shayne Raffard through Prestige Renovations back in 2014 to install a sump pit in my basement and waterproof the exterior of my basement and made arrangements to pay a down payment and pay the rest at certain times throughout the job. Shayne installed my sump pit as planned, but when Shayne went to waterproof my basement things started to fall apart. Shayne trenched one and a half sides of my house, causing over 1000$ worth of damage to my siding in the process, and then started complaining about how he couldnt continue trenching because it was too wet outside, even though it had not rained in two weeks, then complained he couldnt remove my concrete steps because they were attached to the house, then complained that he couldnt do the other side of my house because the fence was too close to the house. After 3 months of trying to get Shayne back to finish the job, and my house sitting there with trenches on 1-1/2 sides, I was forced to go with a different contractor, costing me an additional 10k, to finish the job as It was getting close to winter. This new contractor had absolutely no problems with the weather, removing the steps, or the distance between the fence and house and easily finished the job in a week. I have since taking Shayne Raffard and Prestige renovations to court and won the case, but have been unable to collect off Shayne or Prestige Renovations as conveniently Prestige Renovations has no assets and Prestige Renovations was actually closed as a company in 2012. So please use caution when you hire Shayne Raffard or any of his companies as I dont want anyone else to have to deal with what I am still going through with this guy.

I had the pleasure of working with Shayne on a fence & deck in the Yorkton area that we had both been subcontracted to complete. Even as a contractor myself I was blown away by his attention to detail and his work ethic! Shayne is now my go-to-guy whenever a friend is needing work done that's outside of my area of expertise or when I'm not able to fit them in. He's always proffessional, always efficient, and his workmanship is second to none. I would recommend him to anyone! Keep up the good work my friend may our paths cross again!
