Where to start? CHECK YOUR PACKAGE FOR DAMAGE!!!! It started on a Monday. I drove to the distribution center in order to pick up my shipment of tiles. The warehouse workers were helpful. They told me where to park my truck so they could load. Once in place, they asked for my name and after a little confusion found my order and delivered it to the bay. One worker helped me by passing me four 60lb boxes of tile while I loaded them in my truck. The boxes were intact and appeared in fair condition so I signed the receipt and headed home. Now the fun begins. I noticed the corner of the box felt funny as I took it into the house (I live 10 mins away in town). I inspected the next box in detail before bringing it inside and took a photo of damage on the side of the box. I then brought the last boxes into the house, found the worst box, and took a really good picture. I sent the pictures with questions and was contacted quickly however their biggest concern was that the $220 bill should have been collected by the driver. Nobody local could answer my questions regarding how I'd get my money back and the "rates/claims" person simply would not return any call or answer any question. This back and forth went on for another 4 days. Finally, on Friday (today), I'd managed to talk them out of charging me for delivery and "tailgate fee" since I picked it up, so I paid the bill which was around $180. Now that the bill was paid I was contacted to fill out a different claims form by the "rates/claims" person that had been non-responsive for the past 3 days. I filled out the form which includes uploading pictures, submitting contact info, and redundant text field entries and sent it in at 10:30am. At 14:30 I was sent a message that said: "In regards to your claim for the above shipment, we have concluded our investigation. It is our find that the shipment was signed for and received as in good order. Therefore, we must deny your claim as presented." So... those tiles were worth slightly more than the shipping. I'm out $450 bucks. They were either shipped like that, damaged in transit, or I smashed each box on my way home. You be the judge. Moral of the story, they're reasonably priced. Their warehouse is run nicely and the warehouse staff is friendly. The local administrative staff is responsive but ill informed, and the claims department is draconian. CHECK YOUR PACKAGE BEFORE YOU SIGN OR PAY FOR ANYTHING! In this case the damage was concealed so in order to find it, I should have opened a box. If you have a shipment that is a little more fragile than tile (tile is actually very tough), you should probably take your time and open the package before signing anything. I'm sure they'll complain but the alternative is paying for garbage. Hope this helps someone.

Recently in Dec 2020 Jays were hired to move me...the best service I could have gotten...the office staff were awesome...couldn't ask for nicer and hard workers that did the moving...I would definitely recommend Jays Moving to anyone...
