Dangstorp Dental (Northgate)

I'm very disappointed. In January I had a visit with a toothache. I bought antibiotics, which the doctor prescribed, because an infection got into the tooth. They assured me that before my holidays they would find time to repair the tooth. Today I called to ask if they have time for me before my flight and the receptionist says she can sign me up for the future. I need help now, not when I lose my tooth. It still hurts me. The receptionist was rude and forgot that she works there for us. I never back again to Northgate Mall dentist. You loss client

I had a great experience front staff were awesome, dentist was awesome and the assistant was awesome A+

The support staff is friendly, giving them 5 stars! But not happy at all with Dr. Neudorf. Needed an old crown replaced, told her I didn't take freezing well so would need lots, didn't listen & ended up having to stop procedure of removing old crown to give more freezing so took a very long time to complete 1st appointment. Got temporary crown, came off in 7 days, had to close my retail store to drive up to the city to get it put back on, I've had other crowns, temporary never came off any of those! That cost me alot in fuel & lost revenues! She quoted me $1,000, my insurance won't cover crowns so she said I could do 4 payments. Left 1st appointment & paid 1st payment of $375...$375 x 4 = $1,500! Went in a few weeks after temporary crown replaced to get new permanent, mentioned that I'm experiencing sensitivity & pain all over that entire side of my mouth, top & bottom, since they started messing with that tooth...it's just deferred pain she kept telling me rather than checking other teeth. Told her about the payments being far more than quoted. She looked it up & stated "oh, yeah, that was in case we had to fix the tooth before recrowning but we didn't, so I'll adjust it" Had I not said anything I would end up paying $1,500! And after her adjustment it's still going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,200, not really sure cause have never seen an actual invoice! Since then the pain has worsened & I had to make an emergency appointment...choose to use another dentist this time, their sister location in Emerald Park...AWESOME PEOPLE THERE! They did a bunch of checking & more x-rays & turns out I have a cracked filling on a top molar, same side, possibly tooth needs root canal for another $1,100, insurance will cover 80% at least, but not until after I take antibiotics for infection/abscess which I now have since it's been a few months since first complaining to Dr. Neudorf. So again, had to close my retail store & make another trip up to the city for this emergency that could have been avoided if Dr. Neudorf was more concerned about listening to me & helping me rather than overcharging me! If she'd have taken the time to check into this I may not have ended up having to get a root canal. Won't go back to Danstrop Dental Northgate location or Dr. Neudorf & don't recommend her either.

My son (19) was asked if was interested in getting invisalign braces. In the past he has never had to pay for any Dentsit work as it was covered under my plan until he was 21. They were also trying to see if he was covered. He was told that he would have to come back in for an assement. When he came back for they were still unsure if it would be covered. 30 minutes later he left and there was a bill for around 400. Turns out this wasnt covered as were the braces not covered. Which I feel they knew prior that he wouldnt be. I understand he is an now an adult but since this was my coverage being used and he has never paid for anything in the past why would they not talk with me explaining the costs involved. Or explain to him that if you are not covered you will have to pay 400 for this assessment. Imo they took advantage of a situation and seen an opportunity to make some more money.

Since 1993 I have been going to this clinic they rebuilt teeth due to accidents fights and poor hygiene practices by myself own doing I had my teeth at least 24 years longer then would have been possible as for 10 years before dangstorpdental.com I never brushed floss or did any care tooth decay and now gum disease have claimed lots from smoking coffee as well my mouth and teeth were horrific before the dentist and I only started cleaning once a year 8 years ago when it wasn't to late to save them warned by Dr Kelly that was the case the changes she told me to make I didn't now I'm looking at expensive reconstructive surgery to the teeth I had removed due to finances with Dr neudorf my fourth dentist at the clinic all were excellent highly recommend clinic staff are friendly and nice people
