Kathy did not look out for my best interests at all. She referred an engineer who downplayed 2 big problems, likely for repeat referrals. The seller of the home that I bought did not disclose a problem he was legally required to disclose. When I phoned Kathy about it she said it was my responsibility to fix it now and the window for legal action had closed. Actually it had not, but I took her for her word and now it really is too late. These problems have cost me over $20,000 to fix, and there can never really be a perfect fix for my problem. It will affect me even when I want to sell. She also did not advocate for me with respect to terms, I paid over-asking price for the house and ended up taking possession way earlier than normal and I really needed the extra time. For the biggest investment of your life, please do not repeat my mistake by choosing this real estate agent.
