Dojo Ramen

Went to Dojo Ramen to use a $100 gift card I had purchased for my husband. We wanted to use it all up because we rarely go downtown for supper. We were informed when we went to pay that the gift card could not be accepted. The reasons given were that there was new ownership and the machines had to be changed before gift cards could be accepted. Our server felt bad and we did not blame her in the least but we were very upset that we had to spend another 100 plus dollars after already purchasing a $100 gift card. There should be a sign in the restaurant if gift cards are not being accepted.

Tuna tataki had some great flavour combinations. Would recommend as an appetizer. The spicy Ramen is ok. The chashu is very well done and the kimchi is a nice touch. The broth seems to be missing depth of flavour.

Sadly the miso ramen had one small piece of pork. So I added two pieces of shrimp for four dollars. Service was unprofessional dropping of water in a wine glass but not pouring it for you. Unfortunately subpar ramen and skimpy on the protein at $19 dollars a serving.
